Job summary

Excel Aviation in Ireland is hiring an Airside Catering Driver (C Licence) to deliver, load and unload meals to aircraft at Dublin airport. The role is customer facing and requires a professional image and clear communication with airline crews.

You must hold a current C Licence, CPC Licence and digital tachograph, be able to drive both left and right-hand drive vehicles, and be available weekdays and weekends. Training will cover RSA and airport procedures, security checks and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Customer facing role requiring good communication skills and a professional image.
• Must hold a current C Licence, CPC Licence and digital tachograph.
• Ability to drive both left and right hand drive (International).
• Available to work weekdays and weekends.
• Garda vetting and 5-year background check required.
• Ability to identify, anticipate and resolve problems.
• Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Check your vehicle prior to use at start of shift.
• Load and offload meals from the truck and aircraft safely and timely.
• Ensure vehicle is security checked and sealed before departing to the airport.
• Drive to aircraft following RSA, local and airport rules.
• Load aircraft as per galley plans and company policies.
• Ensure security paperwork is handed over to crew and delivery note signed.
• Carry out housekeeping duties and refuelling as required.
