AIM Support Educator (Level 7) – St. Audoen’s Preschool, Dublin 8
St. Audoen’s Preschool is a warm, play-based early years setting, offering the ECCE programme to children aged 3–5 years.
We are currently seeking a dedicated AIM Support Educator to join our small close-knit team and support inclusion within our classroom.

💼 Role Overview
The successful candidate will provide 1-to-1 and small group support to a child funded under AIM Level 7 Higher Capitation, helping them access the preschool day with confidence, comfort, and joy.

✨ Key Responsibilities
– Support a child’s participation in daily free-play, routines and group experiences
– Encourage social engagement, communication, self-help and emotional regulation
– Assist with sensory, nature-based and movement activities
– Work collaboratively with room leader and preschool team on inclusion planning
– Implement strategies aligned with Aistear and Síolta
– Contribute to observations and learning notes when needed
– Promote a calm, safe, and child-centred learning environment
– Assist during transitions, outdoor time, and mealtimes

🎓 Essential Requirements
✔ Minimum Level 5 Early Years qualification (or higher)
✔ A passion for inclusion and supporting additional needs
✔ Comfortable working in a play-based, sensory-rich environment
✔ Team player with a caring and patient approach
✔ Good communication and observation skills

💚 Desired (but not essential)
Training or experience in SEN, Autism, or Inclusion
LINC programme (or working towards it)
Experience working in ECCE settings with additional needs support

🕘 Working Hours
ECCE session support hours will apply (Monday–Friday, 3 hours per day, 38-week programme cycle)
Contract is part-time, fixed-term, aligned with AIM funding duration
