Overview

Our Client is seeking an experienced AI Engineering Lead to architect, build, and deliver cutting‑edge AI and agentic solutions. This role involves leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, driving innovation, and working closely with clients to define and deliver impactful AI platforms aligned with business goals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale engineering teams focused on AI solution delivery.
• Design, document, and govern state‑of‑the‑art AI and agentic architectures using AWS and modern AI frameworks (e.g., NVIDIA Nemo, LangGraph).
• Ensure engineering best practices and high‑quality development standards across all projects.
• Contribute to AI solution strategy across target industry segments.
• Support pre‑sales and delivery initiatives, particularly around architecture, engineering, and security.
• Build deep relationships with technical stakeholders by demonstrating thought leadership in AI and digital engineering.
• Collaborate across internal teams to identify and develop innovative AI opportunities.
• Drive continuous innovation within the AI engineering function.

Skills & Capabilities

• Deep expertise in full‑stack application development and engineering best practices.
• Proven experience architecting, building, and deploying AI/ML solutions.
• Strong background designing agentic AI systems using APIs, SDKs, LLMs, and foundation models.
• Hands‑on engineering and solutioning skills with one or more cloud hyperscalers (AWS preferred; Azure also relevant).
• Experience with NVIDIA Nemo or similar frameworks is an advantage.
• Strong cloud engineering knowledge: security, disaster recovery, networking, virtualization, containers, orchestration, Linux, APIs, and DevOps.
• Solid understanding of cloud‑native services for high‑scale application deployment.
• Experience working consultatively with clients to define and deliver AI solutions.
• Ability to collaborate closely with product management to shape AI capabilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, especially with senior technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with distributed, cross‑functional teams.

Experience Requirements

• 8+ years leading engineering teams delivering AI‑driven solutions.
• 6+ years of hands‑on programming experience (Python, Java, React, or similar).
• Demonstrated solution architecture expertise, including feature design, upstream/downstream system impacts, and workflow definition.
• Strong technical architecture experience covering data flow, technology integration, scalability, and security.
• Experience in agentic architecture (multi‑agent orchestration, intelligent routing, state management, evaluation, and cost/performance optimization).
• Track record of leading teams of 10+ across solution architecture, data science, and engineering disciplines.
• Strong cloud expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working with senior business and technology leaders.
• Familiarity with large‑scale AI products or platforms (NLP, speech, vision, recommender systems) serving high user volumes.
