Job summary

Jobtailor is hiring an Observability Engineer in Dublin, Ireland. You will build and maintain observability standards across logs, metrics, traces, and events, and own dashboards using Splunk Observability.

The role focuses on alerting, SLO tuning, and embedding reliability checks into CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate nails production incidents, automates remediation, and optimizes telemetry for quality, scale, and cost.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher in CS/AI or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk).
  • Experience in cloud-native environments (GCP preferred).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of production incidents and operational workflows.
  • Deep experience with automation, event correlation, and auto-remediation.

Job description

  • Solid understanding of production incidents and operational workflows.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites Skills
