Job Purpose
Agri-Trading Division are pleased to invite applications from experienced & ambitious persons to join the Commercial Sales Team in the role of Agri Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to be part of a professional team that is committed to the delivery of the highest customer service. The successful candidate will be based in the O'Brien Street, Tipperary Town branch working as a key part of the inside Sales and Marketing Function to grow sales in conjunction with field-based team through proactive engagement and technical support across our customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities
- Communicating professionally and effectively with staff, customers, clients and suppliers.
- Be a key technical support function to the field sales team & work closely with them to achieve objectives.
- Achieve targets in conjunction with field sales teams – budgets provided across feed, fertiliser and farm requisites.
- Provide flexible coverage of inbound calls and achieve determined metrics – weekly calls and sales targets, campaign targets.
- Build your technical knowledge to better serve our co‑op members through animal nutrition, grassland management, crop agronomy and other key areas as required.
- Attend and participate in Technical Training events where required.
- Provide a "best in class" customer service experience to all ArraTipp customers.
- Proactively offer "best fit" solutions to customers in relation to their farming needs.
- Actively partake in all seasonal sales campaigns to drive sales & revenue for ArraTipp.
- Driving profitable sales and consistent results.
- Achieve Kpi monthly/yearly targets.
- Executing store specific plans.
- Contribute to team meetings to drive the business forward.
- Organize store specific promotions and execute the set‑up.
- To support the development of categories & key lines.
- Working with store management on market research to ensure we provide best product range for our customers' needs.
- Cross selling products increasing purchase amounts.
- Maintaining accurate inventory and books to ensure stock loss is within budget.
- Effective and timely re‑stocking of the store.
- Dealing with all customer queries including telephone queries in an efficient and professional manner.
- Processing payment and dealing with customer point of sales enquiries.
- Improve & maintain a high‑quality standard of store presentation.
- Effective communication channels put in place with other team members.
- Resolve common customers complaints.
- The ability to be a brand ambassador for the company.
- Using own experience and skill set to guide and help other team members.
- Competitor visits to check for opportunities for our business to develop.
- Attend sales conferences to meet suppliers and gain expert training.
- Follow and complete any Health and Safety tasks allocated by management.
- Developing own leadership capabilities through the use of own personal development plan.
- Be flexible during peak times and adjust to support the stores' needs to deliver the best results.
- Engage and network with other stores to share ideas and help support growth.
- Be flexible to work across various departments and other ArraTipp retail stores.
Qualifications / Skills Required for this role
- 3 years previous relevant Agri retail sales experience.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Great customer service focus.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Computer skills with advance levels in Microsoft and core systems or similar IT programs.
- Superior product knowledge.
- Commercial awareness.
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Passionate individual that is willing to learn on the job.
- Coaching experience.
