Job summary

Clarity Locums are currently looking for registered children’s nurses or registered general nurses with paediatric experience to work agency shifts for a Westmeath-based hospital.

Shifts are based in a paediatric setting and diabetes experience is preferable. Hours: Monday to Friday 08.00-16.00. Applicants must hold a nursing degree, valid NMBI registration, and be eligible to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in General Nursing or paediatric nursing.
• RGN/RCN registration with NMBI (required).
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
• Diabetic nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality paediatric nursing care.
• Accurate patient documentation and reporting.
• Work as part of the ward/clinical team.
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols and guidelines.

• Provide high quality healthcare to ensure patient safety and work within scope of practice at all times
• Patient reporting in a timely manner and maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation
• Participate as a team member in all aspects of resident’s/patient care.
• Show motivation and assume responsibility for professional self-development including presenting up-to-date compliance documents
• Following policies, protocols and guidelines in accordance with healthcare facilities
