Job summary

Clarity Locums is recruiting experienced ED nurses for ongoing agency virtual ward roles in Galway. You will perform remote initial assessments, tailor care plans, and monitor patients via telehealth and contactlessVital signs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in General Nursing and active NMBI registration in Ireland.
• Min 6 months post-registration ED experience.
• Eligible to work in Ireland and registered with Clarity Locums (or willing to register).

Responsibilities

• Perform remote initial assessment of patients admitted to remote monitoring using digital platforms and telehealth.
• Identify suitable care plans from the platform and tailor to individual needs.
• Monitor patient conditions via contactless vital signs and video consultations.
• Escalate changes in patient condition promptly.
• Work with MDT to support patients' individual needs.

Duties

• Perform remote initial assessment of patients admitted to the remote monitoring unit using digital health platforms, telehealth protocols, and contactless vital signs monitoring
• Identify suitable care plans from the platform and modify them for individual patient needs
• Monitor patients’ conditions via contactless vital signs App and video consultations with the patients
• Escalate changes in the patient condition in a timely manner
• Working with the MDT to facilitate the individual needs of patients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in General Nursing and
• Active Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
• Min 6 months Post Registration experience in an ED setting
• Familiarity with digital tools for documentation, remote monitoring, or video triage
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• Registered with Clarity Locums (or willing to register)
