Sherpa Kids is expanding its Ireland after-school program and is seeking a dedicated Afterschool Childcare Assistant for St Paul’s National School in Navan. The role runs Monday to Friday from 1:30pm to 6:30pm, with part-time hours and hourly compensation (€15–€15.75).

Job Description

Supervise children during activities and free play

Assistwith homework and educational tasks

Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.

Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.

Assistwith games, crafts, and group activities

Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment

Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)

Basic knowledge of child development

A full driving licence and access to your own car are required for this position

Proficiencyin English, both verbal and written

Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).

At least 2 written references checks arerequiredbefore starting

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 1.30pm to 6:30pm
