Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is recruiting a part-time Floater to support after school and holiday clubs in Limerick. You will supervise and engage children, help with activities, and assist with homework at on-site school settings.

Ideal candidates have energy, good English, Garda vetting (arranged after interview), and provide two references prior to starting. Hours are Mon-Fri 14:30–18:00, with optional breakfast club coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (min 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (arranged after interview).
• At least 2 written references before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in planned indoor and outdoor activities with the children.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.

Floater - Assists in more than one location as has the opportunity to support more than one team

Supervise children during activities and free play

Assistwith homework and educational tasks

Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.

Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.

Assistwith games, crafts, and group activities

Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment

Qualifications

Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)

Monday- Friday 14:30 - 18:00 & available to cover breakfast club- 7.40am-8.40am
