Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking a part-time childcare assistant to support Before School, After School and Holiday Club programmes in partner schools across Ireland. You will supervise children, help with homework, and run engaging activities in a safe, inclusive environment.

Hours are 8-9am and 2-6pm, Monday to Friday, with Garda vetting completed after interview and references required before starting. English proficiency is essential, with energy and enthusiasm for working with primary school

Qualifications

• Experience working with school aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (indoor and outdoor).
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.

Supervise children during activities and free play
