Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. The CE programme will give successful applicants paid employment and the opportunity to gain practical work experience of 19.5 hours per week within an Afterschool Setting. The work experience and training will enable applicants to secure future employment opportunities within the Childcare sector. All training cost will be 100% funded through the programme.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 1:00 to 5:00pm (excluding breaks). Two written references and Garda Vetting are required for this placement. Shortlisting will apply.
