Cpl Healthcare and a leading non-profit in the Northwest are seeking an Addiction Counsellor to support individuals experiencing homelessness, trauma and addiction. You will work within a recovery-focused team delivering wraparound services in Letterkenny and broader Donegal.

The role emphasizes harm reduction, person-centred care and collaboration with housing, healthcare and community providers to promote housing stability and long-term recovery.

Qualifikationen

• NFQ Level 7 qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy.
• Accreditation with IACP, IAAAC or ICP body.
• Minimum 2 years full-time counselling with addiction focus.
• Experience with harm reduction approaches.
• Clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Aufgaben

• Provide therapeutic addiction counselling and recovery-focused support.
• Build trusting relationships with clients facing homelessness and trauma.
• Deliver harm reduction- and person-centred interventions.
• Develop and implement individualised care and recovery plans.
• Advocate for access to services and community resources.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary colleagues for holistic support.
• Liaise with external agencies, housing providers, rehab services.
• Support pathways to housing stability and community integration.
