Job summary

Anonymous in Dublin is seeking an Acute Care Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assess needs, develop individualized care plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.

Essential requirements include a BSN or ADN and valid NMBI registration. Desirable experience includes 1–2 years in acute care, with excellent communication and proficiency in EHRs.

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse with a BSN or ADN.
• Valid NMBI registration (NMBI PIN).
• 1–2 years of acute care or hospital-based experience is desirable.
• Proficiency in electronic health records and medical technology.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients with acute or critical illnesses.
• Monitor, record and report changes in patients’ conditions and responses to treatment.
• Safely administer medications, IV therapies and other prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment, including monitors and ventilators.
• Provide patients and families with information regarding diagnoses, treatment and recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and reports.
• Adhere to infection control, safety and hospital policies and procedures.
