Job summary

Zurich Life Assurance Plc is expanding its actuarial team and offering rotation across key areas. The role supports studying for actuarial exams and gaining experience across the company.

The primary work location is Dublin with a hybrid model requiring 2–3 days in the Blackrock office weekly. As an Actuarial Trainee you will engage in modelling, reserving analyses, pricing, risk and capital management, and IT solutions while developing strong numerical, communication, and team-working skills.

Qualifications

• Progress toward local actuarial qualification or a 1:1 honours level undergraduate or postgraduate degree with a strong mathematical focus.
• High numeracy and computer literacy; Excel, Word, VBA, SQL and other programming languages desirable.
• Knowledge of insurance industry trends and major issues.
• Willingness to learn and develop with guidance from experienced team members.
• Strong numerical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
