Package: €35,000 - €50,000, Depending on Experience

Our client is a small, dynamic company based in Swords, County Dublin, providing customs clearance and freight forwarding services to a wide range of businesses and individuals. They are seeking a full-time Accounts Assistant to manage the financial operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Ensure accurate billing and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and issue invoices
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Administer payroll
  • Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Accounting qualification with at least 2 years’ experience
  • Strong computer skills, with good knowledge of Excel
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. BrightBooks)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a freight forwarding and/or customs clearance environment is an advantage, but not essential
