Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an Accounts Assistant for a permanent role in Bandon. You will handle banking, invoicing, petty cash and payments, while liaising with the sales team and customers to process payments.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years' SME accounting experience, familiarity with in-house accounting packages, and ideally an AITI qualification. This full-time role offers stability in the Bandon area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' accounting experience, preferably in an SME.
• Proficient in in-house and external accounting packages.
• AITI qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle banking and lodgements, ATM transactions, and gift vouchers.
• Assist with invoicing.
• Manage petty cash.
• Engage with customers for payments and liaise with sales team.
• Run financial reports.
• Organise payment runs.
• Chase outstanding creditors.
