The purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of existing clients and execute a constantly evolving pipeline to quote and secure new clients within a dynamic team setting in our Cork region. The role entails managing new and existing commercial accounts in conjunction with the Regional Manager.

Key External Relationships: Clients, New Customers, Insurance Companies and Credit Management
Role Accountabilities And Core Responsibilities
Sales and Activity Management
- Responsible for managing client insurance requirements including inviting, securing and documenting renewal as well as mid-year alterations and claims handling in line with agreed protocols and procedures.
- Provide support and guidance to Account Executive(s) on clients.
- The achievement of other upsell / cross sell targets.
- Ensure agreed processes are followed in all matters.
- Manage aged debt and premium collection.
- Comply with all Management Audit Requirements.
- Seek, quote and convert quotations for new commercial insurance business.
- Meet income retention, income acquisition and referral targets set.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build long‑term trusted relationships with customers, through understanding their needs and being a true partner.
- Enable customers to make informed decisions, through sharing of best advice and knowledge.
Customer Service
- Provide professional, action‑orientated and timely service to our customers, staff and management.
- Put customers at the heart of everything you do, aiming to delight them during every interaction to build loyalty.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with designated Account Executives and Team Lead.
- Work as part of a team environment to ensure all your customer needs are met.
- Assist in achieving the overall objectives of the Commercial Lines Team.
- Working together to ensure the team is on track to meet Arachas Retail monthly and yearly targets.
Compliance
- Work with the Team Leader and Compliance Teams in ensuring that quality of file records meets prescribed standards.

- CIP qualified as a minimum and studying towards the ACII.
- Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a high energy level.
- Strong communication skills are essential.

- 5 years of commercial experience in SME.

Person Specification
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Previous Open I experience. Previous successful insurance sales experience.
- Significant technical insurance knowledge.
- Proficient in Office, including Outlook, Word & Excel.
- Ability to develop relationships with insurers and clients. An enthusiastic and flexible approach, along with demonstrated attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn & develop.
- Strong work ethic.
