Diamond Coast Hotel in Bartragh invites applications for an Accommodation Porter to join the team. You will clean, service and maintain guest bedrooms and public areas to a high standard, contributing to a pleasant and memorable stay for guests.

Key duties include removing linen from corridors, handling mattresses and furniture, ensuring stock of linen and amenities, cleaning designated areas, and vacuuming floors and furniture.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel porter or housekeeping roles preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends.

• Ensure that an appropriate stock of linen, towels and guest amenities are available at all times.

Location: Diamond Coast Hotel, Bartragh

We are looking for an Accommodation Porter to join the team. The role involves cleaning, servicing and maintaining guest bedrooms and public areas of the hotel to an approved standard, helping to create a pleasant and memorable stay for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all linen is removed from corridors and other areas around the hotel.
• Complete manual handling duties within the hotel such as mattress turning and furniture removal.
• Ensure that an appropriate stock of linen, towels and guest amenities are available at all times.
• Clean any designated areas of the hotel.
• Vacuum and clean floor, rugs and furniture.

Health & Safety

• Rigorously follow and observe all hygiene standards, rules on smoking and comply with hotel policy regarding uniform.
• Take reasonable care for health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other person on the premises.
• Keep your work area tidy and safe and report any hazard, accident, loss or damage to management.
• Be aware of trained first-aid personnel on the premises and the location of first aid boxes, fire extinguishers and alarms.
• Observe all safety rules and procedures, including those laid down in the Health & Safety Statement.
