Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is recruiting a Manufacturing Operative for a busy site in Bandon, County Cork. The role offers 3 days a week but full-time hours, with 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am, rotating days and nights.

You will be involved in production and general site tasks, including operating equipment, preparing materials, moving goods, loading and unloading, and recording production data while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Training and safety procedures are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing or similar is helpful.
• Willing to learn and adapt to rotating shifts.
• Physically capable of long shifts (12 hours).

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and production equipment.
• Prepare materials for production.
• Move products and materials around the site.
• Load and unload goods.
• Check products during production.
• Record production information.
• Keep the work area tidy.
• Follow safety and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to keep production running smoothly.
