Job summary

Primark Stores Limited is offering a 12-month Trainee Designer — Student Placement Year starting Summer 2027 in Dublin. You will work on real projects with real autonomy, contributing to a fast-paced fashion environment and gaining mentorship, a structured development programme and exposure to suppliers.

You’ll use your portfolio to demonstrate creativity, work across Fashion/Graphic/Textile design disciplines, and leverage Adobe CC with guidance from seasoned designers.

Qualifications

• Create a creative portfolio in Fashion Design, Graphic Design or Textile Design.
• Drive newness, meet deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud tools for design work.

Responsibilities

• Research and design a commercial range, exploring new techniques and fabrics.
• Collaborate with the Design team to create typographically strong graphics and prints.
• Follow briefs, track amendments and prepare design files for supplier meetings.
