A leading battery manufacturing company in Indonesia is seeking a Warehouse Technician to oversee operations including receiving and inventory management. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in warehousing within the automotive or chemical sector and is familiar with logistics equipment. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Technician or Foreman.
• Experience in Warehousing and Material Control in Automotive or Chemical industries.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Operations including Receiving, Storage, and Supply.

Responsibilities

• Control container inbound status and communicate with forwarders.
• Make lists of returnable containers and check arrival times.
• Control material inventory status and make decisions for issues.
• Backup Operator during absence and prepare daily operation reports.

Job description

Overview

Controlling for Warehouse Operation (Receiving, Storaging, Supply) Raw Material/Waste Material/Spare Part/Finished Goods; Monitoring Daily Demand & production schedule in system (SAP); Controlling for Container Receiving, Unloading, Unpacking and ensuring accordance with work instruction (WI).

Responsibilities

• Container inbound status (control each truck through reports, Communication with Container forwarder)
• Make a list of returnable containers / Checking arrivals and departures times, and reload containers
• Checking urgent material from containers
• Set-up the priority of returnable container / Control volume of fresh container and old container
• Control FIFO material
• Controlling material inventory status (IN & OUT Material)
• Controlling material inventory stock (based on System and Actual)
• Make decision for probem that occur and coordinate with Shift Leader
• Backup Operator when Operator has sick leave
• Making report daily operations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years as Technician/Foreman
• Working experience with Warehousing, Material and Inventory Control, Production Planning Control in Automotive industry or Chemical
• Familiar with Automotive industry such as vehicle manufacturers, battery manufacturers, OEMs and other experience is preferred
• Understand about the Warehouse Operations [Receiving, Storage and Supply]
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Expert with Logistic Equipment (Forklift, Reach Truck, Tow Motor)
• Has a SIO or license for Forklift, Reach Truck, Tow Motor
