Job summary

PT JAPFA FOOD INDONESIA (WONOAYU) is seeking a Warehouse Operator - RM-1 to join our logistics team in Indonesia. You will receive, inspect, and handle raw materials, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to production.

This role emphasizes inventory control, FIFO/FEFO rotation, safe forklift operation, and adherence to 5S standards. We value attention to detail, physical fitness, teamwork, and reliability to keep our feed and food supply chains running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience as a warehouse operator in manufacturing, food, or feed industries.
• Valid forklift operation license is highly preferred.
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy loads in a warehouse environment.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, discipline, and integrity.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to shift work.

Responsibilities

PT JAPFA FOOD INDONESIA (WONOAYU)

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming raw materials (RM) to ensure quantity and quality match delivery documents.


• Organize and stack raw materials in designated storage areas in accordance with inventory layout and safety guidelines.


• Implement First-In, First-Out (FIFO) or First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) stock rotation principles.


• Prepare and issue raw materials to the production department based on authorized material requisitions.


• Conduct regular physical stock counts (cycle counts) and assist in reconciling discrepancies with the inventory system.


• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or hand jacks, safely and efficiently.


• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety standards within the warehouse area in compliance with 5S principles.


• Report any damaged materials, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Job Qualifications

• Proven experience as a warehouse operator, preferably within the manufacturing, food, or feed mill industry.


• Valid SIO (Surat Izin Operasional) for operating forklifts is highly preferred.


• Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy loads and work in a warehouse environment.


• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management software or systems is a plus.


• Strong attention to detail, discipline, and a high level of integrity.


• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a shift-work schedule.
