Job summary

A retail company in Indonesia is looking for an Inventory Control specialist based in Cikarang. You will be responsible for managing physical system accuracy, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring WMS/ERP transactions are accurate and timely. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3–6 years of related experience. Fluency in English and strong analytical skills are required. This role includes business travel to logistics hubs across Indonesia.

Job Description

Inventory Control & Accuracy

  • Own physical–system accuracy across the Cikarang warehouse and regional hubs
  • Lead cycle counts (ABC), wall-to-wall counts, blind/spot counts; investigate variances with root cause analysis (RCA) and close corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure timely, complete, and auditable WMS/ERP transactions (GRN, put‑away, bin relocation, pick/pack/ship, returns, inter‑hub transfers, RTV).
  • Maintain labeling/binning standards for bulky furniture and merchandises.

Cost Control and Optimization

  • Monitor shrink, losses, damages, and aging;
  • Optimize pick paths, slotting, and replenishment;
  • Collaborate with Planning/Procurement to maintain appropriate safety stock/min‑max and prevent stock‑outs.

Reporting, Governance & Compliance

  • Publish daily/weekly dashboards: inventory accuracy, variances, shrink, aging, fill rate, and on‑time scan rate.
  • Reconcile movements and adjustments with Commercial Accounting; maintain clean audit trails (PO/GRN/Putaway/Pick/Ship/Transfer/RTV).
  • Support internal/external audits and adhere to company policies, SOPs, and document control standards.

Reverse Logistics & Exceptions

  • Triage returns (A/B/C grading), route to resale, rework, or scrap with proper documentation.
  • Handle Experience Center (Store)‑linked issues that impact WH/Hub inventory movement (e.g., store returns or transfer variances).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in warehouse inventory control within retail/e‑commerce/furniture.
  • Proficient with WMS/ERP and handheld scanners; strong Excel/Google Sheets
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cycle counting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; able to coach operators and enforce SOPs.
  • Location: This role is primarily based at our main warehouse in Cikarang, with business travel to logistics Hubs across Indonesia.
