Job description

Direct and manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory control, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping of goods.

Develop, implement, and enforce operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency, productivity, and safety.

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of approximately 10+ warehouse staff.

Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and facilitate training and development programs for team members.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Logistics Management

  • Direct and manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory control, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping of goods.

  • Develop, implement, and enforce operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency, productivity, and safety.

2. Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of approximately 10+ warehouse staff.

  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and facilitate training and development programs for team members.

3. Sales Orientation & Customer Relations (Critical Component)

  • Regularly visit key customers to maintain strong relationships, understand their evolving needs, and proactively identify opportunities to improve logistics and service solutions.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for significant client inquiries and service issues, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolution.

  • Work closely with the sales team to align warehouse operations with sales goals and customer commitments.

  • Implement strategies that leverage warehouse efficiency as a competitive advantage.

4. Generate regular operational reports for senior management, focusing on productivity, throughput, and service quality.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Must have significant and demonstrable industry experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain for a minimum of 15 years of experience.

  • Sales-oriented mindset with a proven track record of maintaining and improving customer relationships.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • English conversation level required to interact with international or corporate stakeholders/clients.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of approximately 10 people.

  • Must be willing and able to visit customers regularly as part of the role's sales-oriented focus.

  • Technical proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
