We are seeking a VP of AI & Decisioning to lead enterprise-wide artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and decisioning capabilities within a large-scale telecommunications environment. This role will be responsible for translating data, AI, and machine learning into actionable business decisions that drive customer growth, operational efficiency, revenue optimisation, and risk management.

As a senior leader, you will work closely with executive stakeholders across commercial, network, customer experience, finance, and technology functions to embed AI-driven decisioning into core business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the enterprise AI & decisioning strategy, aligned with business objectives and long-term digital transformation goals
  • Oversee development and deployment of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics models across customer, commercial, network, and operations use cases
  • Drive data-driven decision frameworks for areas such as customer lifecycle management, churn prediction, pricing, personalization, fraud, and operational optimisation
  • Partner with business leaders to translate complex analytical insights into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Lead and grow high-performing teams across data science, analytics, and decisioning
  • Ensure governance, ethical AI usage, data quality, and regulatory compliance
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI technologies and industry best practices, ensuring scalability and sustainability of solutions
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in AI, advanced analytics, decision science, or data-driven transformation, preferably within telecommunications or large-scale consumer businesses
  • Proven leadership experience at senior / executive level, managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, predictive modeling, decision engines, and data platforms
  • Track record of delivering measurable business impact through AI-led initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership
  • Strong strategic mindset combined with hands‑on understanding of analytics and AI capabilities
