Job summary

myTutor in Yogyakarta seeks a Visual Communication Designer to translate ideas and messages into attractive, consistent visuals for educational and promotional content across digital media.

You will collaborate with the Academic Supervisor & Content Marketing Lead to strengthen the myTutor Yogyakarta brand identity and support campaigns, events, and program launches with modern, clear design solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3 or S1 in Visual Communication Design or related fields.
• Fresh graduates welcome with relevant portfolio.
• Experience in graphic design or visual communication is an advantage.
• Proficient in Canva and at least one professional design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Affinity Designer).
• Understanding of visual design principles, layout, typography, colour and branding.

Responsibilities

• Design visual content for Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms.
• Create educational carousels, feed posts, stories, reels covers and digital promotional materials.
• Transform briefs, scripts and ideas into attractive visuals.
• Assist in creating visual assets for campaigns and new program launches.
• Maintain consistency of myTutor Yogyakarta's visual identity across all media.
• Develop design templates to streamline content production.
• Ensure all visuals comply with brand guidelines.
• Design marketing materials such as posters, banners, flyers, profiles and presentations.
• Support visual needs for events, workshops, and other activities.
• Collaborate with Content Marketing Lead on effective visual approaches.

As a Visual Communication Designer, you will be responsible for translating ideas, strategies, and company messages into attractive, consistent, and easily understood visual communications. You will work with the Academic Supervisor & Content Marketing Lead to produce educational and promotional content that strengthens the myTutor Yogyakarta brand identity across various digital media and other marketing needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design visual content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms
• Create educational carousels, feed posts, stories, reels covers, and digital promotional materials
• Transform briefs, scripts, and content ideas into attractive and communicative visuals
• Assist in creating visual assets for campaigns and new program launches
• Maintain consistency of myTutor Yogyakarta's visual identity across all communication media
• Develop design templates to make content production more efficient and scalable
• Ensure all visual materials comply with company brand guidelines
• Design marketing materials such as posters, banners, flyers, company profiles, presentation decks, merchandise, and other promotional materials
• Support visual needs for events, workshops, and other company activities
• Collaborate with the Content Marketing Lead in the content production process and provide input on effective visual approaches for target audiences

About you

• Minimum D3 or S1 education, preferably in Visual Communication Design (DKV), Multimedia, Communication Science, or related fields
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply with relevant portfolio
• Experience in graphic design or visual communication is an advantage
• Proficient in Canva and at least one professional design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Affinity Designer, or similar tools
• Understanding of visual design principles, layout, typography, colour, and branding
• Modern, clean, communicative, and easily understood design taste
• Accustomed to organizing design files neatly and systematically
• Able to work with timelines and deadlines
• Good communication skills in receiving and providing feedback
