Xendit Inc. is seeking a Product Designer focused on developer experience. You will own the design of the developer dashboard and integration surfaces, ensuring a clear, fast, and trustworthy experience for engineers.
You will collaborate with Engineering and Content teams, extend the design system, and advocate data-dense, API-first UI across docs, references, and sandbox flows.
Xendit provides payment infrastructure across Southeast Asia and is expanding to Greater China and LATAM. We process payments, power marketplaces, disburse payroll and loans, provide KYC solutions, prevent fraud, and help businesses grow exponentially. We serve our customers by providing a suite of world-class APIs, eCommerce platform integrations, and easy to use applications for individual entrepreneurs, SMEs, and enterprises alike.
Our main focus is building the most advanced payment rails for Southeast Asia, with a clear goal in mind — to make payments across and within SEA simple, secure and easy for everyone. We serve thousands of businesses ranging from SMEs to multinational enterprises, and process millions of transactions monthly. We’ve been growing rapidly since our inception in 2015, onboarding hundreds of new customers every month, and backed by global top-10 VCs. We’re proud to be featured on among the fastest growing companies by Y-Combinator.
Designing for developers is a distinct craft. The interface is often the dashboard, the API reference, the sandbox, the error states, and the logs, information-dense surfaces for a technical audience with little patience for friction. This role makes the developer’s experience clear, fast, and trustworthy across those surfaces.
You report to the Product Design & UX Director for Customer Lifecycle and are embedded with the Developer Experience PM and Engineering as the design owner for developer‑facing surfaces. You adopt and extend the domain design system rather than owning it, partnering with the senior design‑system lead on shared patterns, so your time is weighted toward product work from the start. The domain works from validated findings rather than assumptions and values direct, candid critique.
A strong plus: having designed docs, API reference, or developer tools; technical literacy; fintech experience.
The candidates who stand out show a data-dense or developer-facing product they designed and explain how they reduced complexity for a technical user, the specific decisions, not a tour of the screens.
