Description

Be the consummate host by ensuring the highest standard of repair and maintenance of upholstered furniture, curtains and trims in passenger cabins, public areas and crew accommodation spaces. Works in a cost-efficient manner and in compliance with Company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintains all upholstered area, curtains and trims onboard through the use of established quality upholstery techniques and practices as directed by the reporting officer.
  • Always responds to authorized upholstery defect reports in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Always provides a positive first impression through a warm greeting and professional appearance.
  • Keeps workplace clean and organized, treats all working tools with care.
  • Works with supervisors and peers to ensure sufficient spare parts are maintained onboard at all times.
  • Maintains accurate daily work reports.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Successful candidate will have accured at least 12 months experience working as an upholsterer or similar industry role.

  • Upholstery background with preferable ship experience, shipyard or workshop ashore.
  • Skills and knowledge in operating upholstery equipment and machinery.

Understands the foundations of customer service and has the ability to deliver outstanding service to our passengers.

Motivation to excel in all aspects of job duties and responsibilities.
