A leading insurance company in Jakarta seeks an experienced actuarial professional to manage and develop actuarial software for financial work. The ideal candidate should have over 6 years of experience in the insurance industry, expertise in Prophet, and knowledge of IFRS17. Responsibilities include software management, project coordination, and ensuring the accuracy of actuarial financial assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in actuarial modelling within the insurance industry.
• Expertise in Prophet is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of actuarial cashflow modelling software is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor actuarial projects and systems to ensure software availability.
• Develop and manage actuarial software including IFRS17.
• Coordinate implementation of projects within the actuarial team.

Job description

This role involves managing and monitoring activities related to actuarial projects and system management to ensure the availability of software programs that support the division's and Company's productivity in accurately and timely performing actuarial financial work as the basis for strategic decision-making by the Company.

Responsibilities

Developing and managing actuarial software (prophet), include IFRS17 software (IDR toolkit, PDMP), to ensure optimal and updated functionality and utilization to support Company performance. Coding and testing model developments and parameterisation of Prophet models (Liability Model, IFRS17 Model and VNB cashflow) Analyse results of models for reasonability including details checks for auditability. evaluating and managing documentation activities for product modelling/enhancement models and analyzing the impact of product modelling on reserves, and profits. Coordinating the implementation of projects within the actuarial team (i.g IFRS17, IDR, etc) is also part of the role. Managing in other projects helping to Automate processes using prophet/DCS model as required

Requirements

Should have a minimum of 6 years of working experience in actuarial modelling within the insurance industry. Prophet expertise is an advantage for this role. working knowledge of actuarial cashflow modelling software, IFRS17 cashflow, and valuation data management software preferable.
