Job description

We are looking for a UAV Engineer to join our engineering and solutions team. You will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining Unmanned Aerial Vehicle systems to support operational deployments and technical projects. The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on experience with UAV platforms, flight controllers, payload integration, and field troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform configuration and optimization of UAV platforms, including multirotor, fixed‑wing, and VTOL Fixed Wing, covering flight controllers, sensors, and payload modules.
• Conduct functional testing, calibration work, and supervised flight validation for new or serviced UAV units.
• Execute structured troubleshooting on navigation modules, telemetry systems, RF links, and power systems, and elevate complex issues to senior engineers when required.
• Plan and execute UAV missions, including pre‑flight checks, field deployment, operation of the aircraft, and post‑mission procedures.
• Carry out mapping and spraying missions when needed and process mission data for documentation and reporting.
• Provide on‑site support for customers during deployment, training sessions, or troubleshooting activities.
• Assist internal technical teams with integration tasks involving command‑and‑control interfaces, video streaming tools, and related platforms.
• Support Proof‑of‑Concept activities and technical demonstrations for clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as system checklists, maintenance logs, operational notes, and safety records.
• Perform administrative tasks related to operations, reporting, or documentation when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with UAV systems (assembly, integration, or operations).
• Strong understanding of flight control systems, telemetry, GNSS, and UAV communication protocols.
• Familiarity with RF systems, radio telemetry, and video transmission for UAVs.
• Experience in testing, maintaining, and operating UAV platforms in the field.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and sensor‑related issues systematically.
• Ability to draw 3D designs and prototyping or related skills are plus points.
• Relevant certifications, such as drone pilot certifications (APDI or equivalent) are highly preferred.
• English is a must.
• Willingness to travel for projects, customer visits, or deployments both domestically and internationally.
