Job summary

A leading marketing firm in Jakarta Utara is seeking an experienced Trade Marketing Manager. You will develop trade marketing strategies, manage promotion budgets, and collaborate with sales teams to enhance product visibility. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably in FMCG or Consumer Goods. This position requires strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least a Bachelor's degree in any major, preferably Marketing or Business.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, ideally in FMCG or Consumer Goods.
  • Strong understanding of trade promotion mechanics and sales processes in FMCG.

  • Develop an annual trade marketing strategy based on brand's direction and sales targets.
  • Manage the trade promotion budget and evaluate budget effectiveness.
  • Develop promotional strategies and trade activities across all areas and channels.

Responsibilities

Develop an annual trade marketing strategy based on the brand's strategic direction and national sales targets.

Manage the trade promotion budget, including allocation, utilization, and evaluation of budget effectiveness.

Develop promotional strategies and trade activities (consumer promotions, dealer promotions, outlet activations, bundling programs, POSM, merchandising, and events) across all areas and channels.

Collaborate with the Sales team on distribution planning and product planograms to ensure product visibility and availability in outlets.

Lead the evaluation of the ROI of the trade marketing program and provide data-driven improvement recommendations.

Manage relationships with distributors, GT, and local modern trade in implementing promotional programs.

Develop promotional materials and merchandising tools with the Brand Marketing and Agency teams.

Requirements

Requirement:

Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's degree in any major, preferably Marketing or Business.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, ideally in the FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Pharmaceutical industries.

Strong understanding of channel management, trade promotion mechanics, and sales business processes in FMCG. Strong analytical and numerical skills in managing sales data, budgeting, and program evaluation.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Creative, proactive, and results-oriented.

Willing to conduct regular field visits to sales areas.
