Main Responsibilities
  • Studies technical Drawings or specifications and visualizes shape of die, part, or tool
  • Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts, using measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators
  • Operates various tool room machining equipment—e.g., Surface grinding, Milling, Drilling
  • Minimum 5 Years of tool making tool making experience
  • Assemble and troubleshooting skill
  • Updating Job Sheets
  • Contribute concepts and ideas for tool improvement
  • Follow-up on the tooling improvement activities
  • Update spare record and maintain spare based on MPS
  • Aware safety requirements for the trouble shooting /Tool assembly and operate machines
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor/leader
Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma in Tool & die or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or technical training on tooling (Tool & Die) / Professional certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Must be able to interpret technical drawing
  • Must be able to read customer drawing /internal drawing for stamp parts with machining process
  • Attend to internal meeting for technical discussion or improvement study
