Job summary

Arbeit Group is seeking a Thermal/HVAC/Mechanical Engineer to support a data center project in Batam and Cikarang, West Java. The role requires design, calculations, equipment selection, and technical analysis of HVAC and thermal systems.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years in HVAC/thermal fields, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and the ability to read drawings and work across teams. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in HVAC/thermal/mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of HVAC/thermal systems and engineering principles.
• Experience in HVAC design, calculations, equipment selection, and analysis.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Able to read drawings, specs, and technical documents.
• Familiar with engineering codes and standards.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willing to travel to site projects and join ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC/thermal and mechanical systems for data center projects.
• Perform calculations, specify equipment, and conduct technical analyses.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure design alignment and reliability.
• Travel to project sites as required.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, thermal systems, and mechanical engineering principles
• Experience in HVAC system design, calculation, equipment selection, and technical analysis
• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Good understanding of applicable engineering standards and codes
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Willing to travel or be assigned to project sites when required
• Able to join as soon as possible is preferred
