Job summary

PT. BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk is seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to maintain, secure, and optimize the company-wide network infrastructure, including cloud, data centers, and branch offices.

Day-to-day duties cover monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and designing resilient network solutions. The role requires leadership in routing, switching, WAN, VPNs, and multi‑cloud security, with certification in Palo Alto, NSE7/8, CCNP/CCNA as an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in network security with hands-on design and governance.
• Experience with NGFWs, WAF, IDS/IPS, and proxy architectures.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPsec VPN, TLS, NAT, VLAN, NAC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stability, security, and performance of the company's network incl. cloud, data centers, branch offices, VPNs.
• Plan and implement network design, BCP, automation, and access procedures.
• Manage tickets, budgets, and device configuration backups.

Job Description

• Maintaining the stability, security, and performance of the company's entire network infrastructure—including cloud, data centers, branch offices, VPNs, and third‑party connections—through monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and the optimization of routing and bandwidth.


• The scope also includes planning and implementing network design, BCP (Business Continuity Planning), automation, and access and network development procedures, alongside managing tickets, budgets, and device configuration backups.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experienced min 5 years as Network Security


• Mastery of network topology, Routing & Switching (Aruba, Cisco, Arista, MikroTik), Zero Trust Architecture, SD-WAN, tunneling (OVPN, PPTP, L2TP, etc.), Bandwidth Management, Failover, Load Balancing, Wi-Fi & Hotspot, LAN, Cabling, and Micro‑segmentation.


• Expert‑level proficiency in the configuration and governance of Next‑Generation Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco, F5), WAF, IDS/IPS, and Proxy.


• Proficient with deep mastery of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPsec VPN, SSL/TLS, BGP/MPLS, GRE, VLAN, NAT, Mangle) and access restriction techniques (Network Access Control / NAC).


• Experienced in securing Multi‑Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Hybrid Network infrastructures.


• Has certified PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer), NSE 7 / NSE 8 (Fortinet Network Security Expert), CCNP or CCNA will be plus point.
