Job summary

PT Trakindo Utama is seeking a hands-on service technician for heavy equipment. The role involves identifying basic service needs based on customer requests, preparing and verifying tools and equipment under supervision, and ensuring safe, accurate job execution according to manuals and procedures.

You will stage parts, coordinate with teams for timely service, and follow SHE standards, with duties extending to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• SMK in Electrical/ Heavy Equipment/ Mechanical/ Technical major.
• GPA is not applicable (N/A).

Responsibilities

• Identify basic service requirements (revenue, warranty, or guarantee) based on customer requests under guidance to ensure the service assigned aligns with customer needs.
• Prepare, inspect, use, and verify the readiness of tools and equipment in accordance with standard manuals and procedures under supervision, tag and escalation any defects to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient technical or technology job processes.
• Pick, verify, and stage parts or components against work orders and manuals, process returns or cores per standard procedures under supervision, to ensure clean handover and reliable technical or technology job execution.
• Support timely service execution by updating job status, coordinating parts or tool readiness, and escalating issues under supervision, to ensure quick response, on‑time completion, and quality technical or technology job results.
• Apply corporate standard procedures and best practices including SHE and contamination control requirements under supervision, to ensure consistent and compliant service execution.
• Perform basic DA, RI, and Recondition activities in accordance with standard manuals and procedures under supervision, to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable service quality.
• Identify waste and participate in continuous improvement under supervision, to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Complete, verify, and submit service administration and technical or technology job documents in accordance with standard manuals and procedures under supervision, to ensure accurate records and proper service processing.
