Job summary

Halliburton is seeking an entry-level Logging and Perforating Technician in Balikpapan, Indonesia. You will support under supervision, service and maintain logging equipment, learn surface systems, and work toward formal maintenance training with senior staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or related electrical experience.
• Experience with logging equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, services, troubleshoots, repairs and/or replaces, aligns, and maintains electrical and mechanical logging equipment as directed.
• Familiarization with surface systems, open and cased hole tools, and lab testing equipment.
• Trains directly under a Principal or Senior Logging and Perforating Technician to gain knowledge and experience.

Job Duties

• Under strict supervision, services, troubleshoots, repairs and/or replaces, aligns, and maintains electrical and mechanical logging equipment as directed.
• Requires familiarization with surface systems, open and cased hole tools, and lab testing equipment.
• Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.
• Error is readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected.
• Skills are typically acquired through and associate degree in electronics or related electrical experience.
• Trains directly under a Principal or Senior Logging and Perforating Technician, to gain knowledge of logging equipment and tools, in preparation for formal maintenance school training.
