Job summary

A maritime company in Jakarta Utara is seeking a Technical Superintendent to manage all technical aspects of assigned vessels. The role requires ensuring vessel readiness, overseeing maintenance and compliance, and acting as the interface between vessels, charterers, and the operations team. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or Engineer Officer Class II, with 3 years of offshore experience preferred. Strong knowledge of ISM Code and maintenance systems is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum experience 3 years as Officer on board offshore vessel. Having shore-based experience will become advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure vessel technical readiness, certification, and operational performance.
  • Act as the primary interface between vessels, charterers, and the operations team.
  • Plan and supervise vessel maintenance, repairs, docking, and PMS implementation.
  • Monitor vessel performance, fuel consumption, and operating costs within approved budgets.
  • Support crew technical performance, certification compliance, and onboard training.
  • Participate in vessel inspections, incident investigations and audit.

Technical Superintendent

Technical Superintendent (TS) reports to Operation Manager (OM) and is responsible to manage all technical aspects of assigned vessels.

Requirements
  • Minimum education: Bachelor Degree in related major or Engineer Officer Class II
  • Strong knowledge of ISM Code, Vessel Plan Maintenance System, OVID/OVMSA, Audit and Inspection.
  • Minimum experience 3 years as Officer on board offshore vessel. Having shore-based experience will become advantage.
