Job summary

A leading agricultural company in Indonesia is seeking a Technical Manager for their rubber plantations. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in managing Natural Rubber plantations and a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture. Responsibilities include defining technical standards, controlling operations, and conducting audits. Proficiency in English is preferable, and willingness to be located at the plantation site in Tebo, Jambi is essential.

Job Description

• To define the specification of the agricultural activities; technical instructure, norms & standards, modus operandi, product, material & equipment, technical assistant guidelines.
• To control the execution of operating procedure
• To plan and monitor regular and appropriate technical audit & auditors on on-going activities in rubber plantation
• To achieve periodic control of work reception acceptance and compliance, accordingly to expected standard
• To achieve periodic control of work reception acceptance and compliance, accordingly to expected standard
• To design and set up continuous progress studies (flow optimization, field experimentation, new practice evaluation, equipment/input test)
• To improve the general agronomic understanding of the plantation and its context (climatic data, soil sampling, pest and disease identification, research activities)
• Involve in new project and new scope of audit activity

Requirement

• Min Bachelor Degree in Agriculture or any related field.
• Proven experience with more than 10 years in technical management of Natural Rubber plantations.
• Proficient in English is preferable.
• Managerial Competencies: Operational efficiency, decision maker, leadership.
• General competencies: Drafting & computer skills, methodological, field and results oriented, rigorous, team player.
• Willing to be placed on site plantation area in Site Tebo, Jambi.
