Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechatronics, or related field.

• Strong interest in smartphones, electronics, diagnostics, or repair.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn.
• Comfortable with hands-on technical work and following standard procedures.
• Experience in phone repair, electronics repair, device testing, soldering, or related technical work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of pre-owned smartphones collected through Kitar's operations.
• Test key device functions, including the screen, battery, camera, Face ID/Touch ID, speakers, microphones, charging, network connectivity, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
• Record inspection results and identify any overlooked issues.
• Assist technicians with diagnostics, device disassembly, basic repairs, and reassembly.
• Conduct quality checks before devices are listed for sale.
• Learn and apply basic repair techniques, including battery and screen replacement, as well as minor component repairs.
• Develop advanced technical skills and take on more specialized repair responsibilities over time.
• Capture, organize, and maintain high-quality product photos and information for CRM, website, and app uploads.
