Job description

Tech Support Engineer executes day-to-day technical operations across network, IT, and IoT systems, ensuring optimal functionality of site technologies through proactive maintenance and responsive troubleshooting.

What you will do:
  • Technical Operations:
    • Perform network troubleshooting (LAN/WiFi connectivity, basic switch configs).
    • Resolve IT helpdesk tickets (hardware/software, desktop support).
    • Conduct IoT device deployments and basic diagnostics.
  • Site Preparation:
    • Execute pre-deployment checklists for new sites.
    • Install and configure standard tech equipment.
    • Complete preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Operations Support:
    • Document all support activities in ticketing system.
    • Escalate complex issues to senior team members.
    • Maintain equipment inventory logs.
You will fit in this job if you:
  • Up to 3 years of professional experience in technical or IT support roles.
  • Exposure to multiple technology domains (IT, networking, IoT preferred).
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell).
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, WiFi, and basic routing principles.
  • Proficiency with network troubleshooting tools (e.g., ping, traceroute, Wireshark).
  • Experience in device provisioning, field diagnostics, and remote monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and dynamic environments.
  • Proactive, responsive, and detail-oriented in documentation.
  • Strong sense of accountability and teamwork.
