Job summary

Shopee is seeking an experienced Tax Transformation Lead to drive end-to-end tax process improvements in Jakarta. The role focuses on automating workflows, refining data quality, and deploying scalable tax technology solutions across departments.

You will collaborate with Tax, Finance, and BI teams to build dashboards, automate reporting, and ensure compliance. Strong English and Bahasa Indonesia communication will be essential for regional coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in tax, finance transformation, process improvement, or related fields.
• Strong functional expertise in end-to-end tax processes, including tax calculations, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
• Hands-on technical familiarity with SQL, Python, database technologies, data modeling, and modern data processing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tax process analysis to identify inefficiencies and drive automation opportunities.
• Drive tax process improvements through technology adoption and workflow optimization.
• Translate complex tax requirements into practical specifications and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with Tax, Finance, and BI teams to design and deploy tax tech solutions.
• Oversee development and deployment of data products, dashboards, and automated reporting.
