Job summary

PT. PRIMA ENERGI BAWEAN is seeking a Taxation Officer to manage VAT obligations for Indonesia operations. The role relies on solid knowledge of tax regulations and accurate processing of invoices and returns.

You will prepare monthly VAT returns, verify input and output tax invoices, and assist with VAT SPT reporting, aiming for compliant, timely filings while supporting company legality documents. Fresh graduates with internship experience are welcomed; basic English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting/Taxation.
• At least 1 year experience in taxation; internships welcome for fresh graduates.
• Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations.
• Brevet A / B certification preferred.
• English proficiency at a passive level.

Responsibilities

• Check and upload output tax invoices.
• Collect and verify validity of input tax invoices.
• Prepare monthly VAT tax returns.
• Check STP VAT (fine).
• Set up VAT underpayment payment process.
• Prepare periodic VAT SPT reports.
• Make tax invoice recap and prepare company legality documents.

Job description

Carry out tax managing activities and ensure smooth run for department daily/weekly/monthly activity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree from Finance/Accounting/Taxation
• Having at least 1 year experience in taxation. Fresh Graduate with internship experience are welcome to apply
• Possess basic knowledge related to tax regulations in Indonesia
• Preferably candidates with Brevet A / B certification
• Proficient in English, at least passive

Main Responsibilities:

• Check and upload output tax invoices
• Collect and check the validity of the input tax invoice received
• Prepare monthly VAT tax returns
• Checking STP (fine) VAT
• Setting up a VAT underpayment payment process
• Prepare periodic report for VAT SPT
• Make a tax invoice recap and prepare company legality documents
