Job description

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation.

Holder of Tax Consultant License C (Brevet C) issued by the Directorate General of Taxes.

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a professional firm at the same level, preferably in tax dispute, litigation, and advisory engagements.

Proven experience in handling tax audits, objections, appeals, and Tax Court hearings.

Experienced in conducting Tax Due Diligence, preparing Tax Opinions, and providing advisory services for both domestic and cross-border clients.

Strong understanding of corporate taxation, VAT, WHT, and individual income tax, both under Indonesian regulations and international tax frameworks.

Comprehensive knowledge of cross-border transactions, international taxation principles, and treaty applications (P3B).

Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.

Strong analytical thinking, business writing, and presentation skills.

A self-driven, responsible, and ethical individual who maintains a high level of professional integrity.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and supervise all aspects of tax advisory, compliance, and dispute resolution services, ensuring high-quality deliverables for clients.

Provide tax advisory and planning services, including identifying tax risks, optimization opportunities, and compliance strategies aligned with current tax regulations.

Handle tax audits, investigations, objections, appeals, and Tax Court proceedings, including the preparation and review of supporting documents, legal memoranda, and responses to tax authorities.

Conduct and lead Tax Due Diligence projects for mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and investment activities, identifying potential tax exposures and risk mitigation measures.

Prepare and issue Tax Opinions to clients and management, supported by strong technical analysis and regulatory references.

Liaise with the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) and other relevant authorities in relation to dispute and compliance matters.

Monitor and interpret changes in tax laws, regulations, and international developments (including OECD, BEPS, and global minimum tax), and communicate their implications to clients and internal teams.

Collaborate with internal departments such as accounting, audit, and legal teams to provide integrated solutions for clients.

Guide and mentor team member consultants to strengthen technical competence, professional conduct, and service quality.

Support business development initiatives, maintain long-term client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the firm.
