Job summary

Kompas Gramedia is seeking a capable System Administrator to deploy, automate, and maintain our production environments both on cloud and on-prem. You will partner with the DevOps team to implement security best practices, enhance CI pipelines, and script backups and deployment tasks.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years of working experience in System Administrator.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• High motivation and responsible attitude.
• Proven experience with Linux Server (CentOS & Ubuntu) including install, troubleshooting, hardening, patching and updates.
• Good knowledge of Shell scripting, IPtables, VMware.

Responsibilities

• Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing cloud-based and on-prem production systems.
• Maintain and improve our CI development pipeline.
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure security best practices are followed.
• Create, version and test scripts for backup, deployment, patching, etc.
• Ensure availability, performance, scalability and security of production systems.
• Build, release and configuration management of production systems.
• Troubleshoot systems and resolve issues across platforms and applications.
