Position 1: Manager of Carbon Neutral
Job Description
- Manage carbon neutral fuel projects, from initiation to completion.
- Handle project management related to renewable energy initiatives.
- Manage and oversee project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure project success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant private sector and government entities.
- Develop a solid working knowledge of carbon regulations, policies and market trends and their impact on project development.
Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in related fields, particularly in project development within the carbon‑neutral fuels sector.
- Proven track record in project management, including budgeting and execution.
- Experience in business development and networking with private sector or government stakeholders (Ministry of Energy preferred).
- Excellent English proficiency (oral and written) for business communication.
- High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
- Strong passion for carbon neutrality and a solid understanding of relevant regulations.
- Excellent project management, communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
- Good logical thinking, basic contract understanding, and strong work ethics.
- Willingness to travel regularly for project–related activities.
- Proficiency in Japanese is an advantage.
Position 2: Marketing Assistant Manager (Agriculture)
Job Description
- Liaise with Indonesian government agencies, local authorities, farmer groups, agricultural cooperatives, and research institutions.
- Lead stakeholder coordination efforts, including scheduling and overseeing meetings and workshops.
- Investigate and monitor the national and local legal framework, regulations, and market trends concerning carbon credit generation and trading.
- Lead and oversee research activities to identify and evaluate potential project sites based on specific criteria.
- Design and supervise surveys and interviews with target farmers/agricultural corporations to understand their current rice farming practices, willingness to adopt new technologies, and farm economic data.
- Research existing agricultural sustainability projects, biochar/soil amendment suppliers, and Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) initiatives in Indonesia to assess the competitive landscape.
- Lead drafting and consolidation of reports, presentations, and technical documents in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Collect, organize, and verify field data to ensure accuracy for economic modeling and feasibility assessment.
- Provide high-quality translation (oral and written) between English and Bahasa Indonesia as required.
Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience in project coordination, business development, or research within the agricultural or environmental sector.
- Demonstrated ability to lead field teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and produce analytical reports with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge or experience related to sustainable agriculture, carbon markets, biochar, or AWD is highly desired.
- Familiarity with the Indonesian agricultural sector, especially rice cultivation practices is desired.
