Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a Surveyor for placement in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The role requires a degree or diploma in Geodetic Engineering / Geomatics, with at least 3 years of mining surveying experience and proficiency in Total Station, Geodetic GPS, and drone systems.

Strong knowledge of surveying principles, data processing, and volume reconciliation is essential; experience with Surpac and QGIS is preferred. Indonesian male candidates welcomed.

Qualifications

• Indonesian male with a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Geodetic Engineering / Geomatics and GPA ≥ 3.00/4.00.
• Minimum 3 years of surveying experience in mining or earthwork projects.
• Proficient in Total Station, Geodetic GPS, and drone systems.
• Solid understanding of surveying principles and accurate results.
• Advanced data processing skills; proficient in Surpac, QGIS, and drone data tools; able to reconcile volumes with clients.
• Mining Surveyor Certificate and POP BNSP Certificate are advantageous.
• POH in North Sumatra preferred.

Surveyor Vacancy

Placement: South Tapanuli, North Sumatra, Indonesia
Work Roster: 4 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off

Qualifications:

• Male, Indonesian citizen.
• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Geodetic Engineering / Geomatics with a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00, and at least 3 years of working experience as a surveyor in the mining industry/ earthwork project.
• Proficient in operating surveying equipment such as Total Station, Geodetic GPS, and Drone systems.
• Strong understanding of fundamental surveying and measurement principles.
• Able to provide accurate and reliable survey results.
• Advanced skills in survey data processing and proficient in mining software such as Surpac, QGIS, and drone data processing software. Must also be capable of performing volume reconciliation calculations and coordinating reconciliation results with clients.
• Holder of a Mining Surveyor Certificate will be an advantage.
• Holder of a POP (First-Line Operational Supervisor) BNSP Certificate will be an advantage.
• Candidates with a Point of Hire (POH) in North Sumatra will be preferred.
