Job Description

• Manage transition processes for innovation / renovation and minimize supply chain losses
• Plan and maintain optimal inventory levels of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging materials based on production schedules and forecasted demand.
• Collaborate closely with procurement, suppliers, production planners, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Monitor material usage, lead times, shelf life, and potential obsolescence to minimize waste and optimize inventory turns.
• Track supplier performance and follow up on order confirmations, shipment schedules, and delivery issues.
• Provide timely updates on material status to stakeholders and elevate critical shortages or risks.
• Generate and maintain accurate data in planning systems, including BOMs, item masters, and safety stock levels.
• Support internal audits, compliance checks, and inventory reconciliations as needed.
• Coordinate with marketing and NPD (new product development) on packaging launches.
• Serve as the end-to-end owner for material availability.
