Supply Chain Supervisor (Smart Metering Company)

As part of our business expansion, we are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator / Supervisor to lead and manage the entire supply chain process, from purchasing and warehouse management to planning and delivery—ensuring operational readiness and efficiency in our manufacturing plant.
Job Purpose
Responsible for managing all supply chain activities (purchasing, warehouse, planning, and delivery) effectively and efficiently to support factory operational readiness. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials and components are available on time, well‑controlled, and aligned with certification and production preparation processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Procurement & Purchasing:
- Execute purchasing processes for goods and services according to project and operational needs.
- Ensure proper vendor selection based on quality, price, and delivery time.
- Create and manage Purchase Orders (PO), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and purchase contracts.
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely arrival of goods.
- Maintain active communication with suppliers for price negotiation and service improvement.
- Warehouse & Inventory Management:
- Supervise incoming materials, including physical and document verification.
- Organize material storage using FIFO/FEFO systems and safety standards.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through proper recording and regular stock opname.
- Oversee material issuance (outgoing/delivery) based on production or project needs.
- Prepare regular inventory and material movement reports.
- Planning & Coordination:
- Develop Material Requirement Planning (MRP) based on project and production schedules.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams regarding planning and material readiness.
- Maintain balance between material demand and warehouse/delivery capacity.
- Provide regular supply chain status reports to support management decision‑making.
- Delivery & Logistics:
- Manage delivery schedules to customers or project sites according to commitments.
- Coordinate with transporters or logistics providers to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Handle delivery documents (DO, packing list, delivery note, invoice, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with logistics regulations and company procedures.
- Documentation & Continuous Improvement:
- Prepare and archive all supply chain documents in accordance with audit and certification standards.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs such as on‑time delivery, inventory accuracy, and purchase lead time.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to optimize cost and time efficiency.
- Support factory certification processes (ISO, SNI, or others) through relevant data and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, Logistics, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, PPIC, or purchasing within a manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement, warehouse management, and material planning.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP or inventory systems (SAP, Odoo, Accurate, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
