A leading automotive company in Indonesia is seeking a seasoned professional to manage customs operations and logistic processes. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in import customs, preferably within the automotive sector. Responsibilities include compliance oversight, process documentation, and maintaining logistics KPIs. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

10 years experience in Import customs, preferably in automobile OEM.
Customs expert certified (Sertifikat Ahli Pabean – PPJK) is a plus.
Good knowledge of EDI system for customs declaration.

Responsibilities

Responsible for international supply concept and customs clearance.
Ensure coordination with local customs authorities.
Maintain efficient inbound/outbound logistic operations.

Qualifications

Have work 10 years experience in Import customs, preferably have experience in automobile OEM
Customs expert certified (Sertifikat Ahli Pabean – PPJK) will be a plus point
Have leadership experience
Sound exposure to concepts and processes of International supply chain and transportation sector
Having a good knowledge of up-to-date Import-exports procedures.
Having a good knowledge and able to determine HS / Harmonized System Code and Tarif.
Having a good knowledge of various government regulation related to automotive industry.
Having a good knowledge of EDI system (Electronic data Interchanged) for customs declaration process.
Having a good knowledge of Indonesian Single-Window portal (INSW) and CIESA Portal for various customs process.
Computer Literate and office function on a high level.
Good communication and interpersonal skill
English and Bahasa Indonesia on a professional level
Basic knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, SMK3 and Eco Industry

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for determining international supply concepts, planning, execution, and series management of inbound/outbound logistic & customs clearance function in the field of commercial vehicle production (PT. Daimler Commercial Vehicles Manufacturing Indonesia)
Ensure coordination with local customs authorities, government organization for import/export procedure, permits, regulation and audit.
Maintain an efficient inbound/outbound logistic operation KPI with the most optimal cost.
Responsible for the assurance of all process in compliance with corporate (Daimler AG) code of conduct, Anti-Bribery Policy and the FCPA
Ensure documentation of all import documents, custom documents and carry out internal audit monthly, quarterly, yearly.
Responsible to handle import & export of special shipment requirements in alignment with global and local customs rules and regulations
Responsible to handle customs house broker and 3PL freight forwarding agents regularly for smoother import and export operations.
Responsible to ensure valid import licenses and track realization regularly with stakeholders – Iron and Steel import quota, Import permit.
