Job description

Experience in a warehouse, logistics, forwarding, or stevedoring/port environment for at least 3-5 years of relevant experience is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of standard warehousing procedures, cargo manifest reading, and inventory control practices.

Familiarity with various types of cargo (e.g., breakbulk, containerized) and securing techniques.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions (required for port/outdoor operations).

High level of detail, orientation, and accuracy in documentation.

Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime, as needed by operational demands.

Job Highlight:

Cargo Management: Efficiently handle the receiving, staging, sorting, storing, and releasing of various types of freight (LCL, FCL, general cargo, etc.) within the warehouse.

Loading/Unloading: Assist in the safe and timely loading and unloading of containers and trucks, utilizing appropriate material handling equipment.

Inventory Control: Perform accurate documentation, labeling, and systematic placement of goods. Conduct regular physical inventory counts (cycle counts) and report discrepancies immediately.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, port regulations, and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Operations, Customs Clearance, and Trucking teams to ensure smooth cargo flow and timely delivery schedules.
